Beginning Nov. 8, 2015, you and your family can enjoy Character dining all day long at Garden Grill Restaurant at Walt Disney World Resort. Served family style and all-you-care-to-enjoy, the menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner are inspired by the garden-grown theme of The Land at Epcot. And while you dine, your family can meet popular Disney pals, including Mickey Mouse, Pluto, Chip and Dale, as they revolve around vibrant views from the Living with the Land attraction. (Characters are subject to change).
For breakfast, served from 8-10:30 a.m., you can enjoy favorites like biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, Mickey waffles and the restaurant’s signature item, Chip’s Sticky Bun Bake.
And at lunch, served from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m., you can feast on all-you-care-to-enjoy favorites from the dinner menu, including “Living with the Land” Harvest-inspired Farmer’s Salad, char-grilled sliced filet of beef, roasted all-natural sliced turkey breast with freshly-harvested vegetables and scrumptious side dishes.
Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Harvest Feast will continue to be available for dinner from 4-8 p.m. daily.
All meals require one table-service entitlement on the Disney Dining Plan.

Are you ready for a wilderness adventure? The new Escape to Walt’s Wilderness experience gives you and your family a glance at the natural surroundings that became the perfect setting to accommodate Walt Disney’s grand dreams.
The adventure begins at Disney’s Contemporary Resort Marina where tour guides will greet you and your family with a warm “Howdy! From there, the group will board pontoon boats for an eco-history tour of Bay Lake. After arriving at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, guests will head to the shore of Marshmallow Marsh for breakfast on the beach. After fueling up, the group will travel by horse-drawn wagon to the Settlement and Pioneer Hall before hiking over the railroad tracks into a clearing in the trees for an archery opportunity. Finally, guests will head to the Tri-Circle-D Ranch horse barn to meet the celebrity horses who live and work at Walt Disney World Resort.
This 5-hour interactive experience is available twice a week and costs $109 per person, plus tax. Each experience is limited to 20 Guests. Participants must be at least 7 years of age. Transportation to Disney’s Contemporary Resort Marina and from Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is available for Disney Resort hotel Guests only.
A photographer will be on hand to capture photos of your group during the experience. Photos are included in the Memory Maker product. If you have not purchased Memory Maker, they will be able to purchase the photos a la carte. Each Guest will receive a PhotoPass card with a 16-digit claim code, which will include all the photos taken of the entire group during the experience. Photos will be available to view on the Disney PhotoPass website within 24 hours of the event.

The EpcotInternational Food & Wine Festival, celebrating it’s 20th year, returns to the Walt Disney WorldResort Sept. 25-Nov. 16, 2015 with more than 30 global marketplaces to explore!
For the first time ever, the festival is stretching into the park’s Future World with four new food and beverage marketplaces.
Along the walkway toward Future World West, you can enjoy the new Artistry of Wine & Cheese festival area, which will feature the Cheese Studio (offering a cheese sampler served on an artist’s palette to pair with wines) and the Wine Studio with premium wines on tap.
Near the Epcot Character Spot, you can discover the new Next Eats area, featuring the Sustainable Chew and Chew Lab marketplaces inspired by ABC’s Emmy-Award® winning lifestyle series “The Chew,” starring co-hosts Mario Batali, Michael Symon, Carla Hall, Clinton Kelly and Daphne Oz. Sustainable Chew will offer three dishes, and Chew Lab will show off hot culinary tech trends like a Liquid Nitro Chocolate Almond Truffle with Warm Whiskey Caramel.
While many festival events are included in regular theme park admission, including the new Back to Basics series, special book signings, Eat to the Beat concerts, cultural adventures, Marketplace Discover Passport, as well as attractions and park entertainment, you can also look forward to over-the-top premium events, including:
Rockin’ Burger Block Party – You can get a glimpse of the cast of ABC TV’s “The Chew” at this new premium event on Oct. 8 in World ShowPlace. You’ll enjoy specialty burgers and sliders inspired by top names in the music industry such as Dave Matthews and his Dreaming Tree Wines and Carlos Santana’s Casa Noble Tequila. (Two additional Burger Block Parties are set for Sept. 25 and Nov. 6.) This event includes VIP seating with a specialty cocktail toast, premium bar and more.
Yelloween Masquerade Party for the Senses – This first-time event on Oct. 31 will be one in a series of popular Party for the Senses premium events. You can experience an elegant, dance-the-night-away, gourmet tasting party with Champagne, wine, craft beers and specialty cocktails paired with food.
Another Party for the Senses you won’t want to miss takes place Oct. 24, and features Disney chefs from the United States, Europe and Asia cooking their favorite cuisine that represents their cultures as well as the Disney Parks and Resorts they call home.
Additional Party for the Senses dates are Oct. 3, 10 and 17, and each evening starts with a reserved seat at the Eat to the Beat concert series at the America Gardens Theatre. Following the show, you will head to World ShowPlace for a sensational evening with more than 50 tasting stations, and performances by Cirque du Soleil
What’s Cookin’ With …You can begin the morning with a delightful plated brunch and sparkling wine toast. Culinary celebs will demo a favorite dish and then sit down with the emcee to answer questions from the audience and share secrets of their successes. The brunch happens every Friday and Saturday at 10 a.m. during the festival

While some favorites fill up fast, there are lots of new events to celebrate the festival’s 20 years at Walt Disney World Resort. Disney World isn’t all about the rides. You gotta meet those characters! Each Disney character has a specific time and place that they meet their guests. You can meet characters at each of the four parks and at Character Dining Locations! Each park has a times guide so make sure to check that out to see when and where each character at the particular park is meeting guests. Check out this list that I have complied below for my list of characters and their locations! My list is in alphabetical order so if you know the name of the character that you would like to see go down the list until you find them!
Aladdin & Jasmine:You can meet Aladdin and Jasmine at the Magic Kingdom in Adventureland near Agrabah Bazaar. You can also meet Aladdin and Jasmine at Epcot in the Morocco Pavilion. You can also meet Jasmine in two Character Dining Locations, Cinderella’s Royal Table and Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. Alice:You can meet Alice at the Magic Kingdom in Fantasyland near the Mad Tea Party Tea Cups Ride where she sometimes meets with the White Rabbit and Mad Hatter. You can also meet Alice at Epcot in the United Kingdom. You can also see Alice at a fewCharacter Dining Locations!
Anna and Elsa:You can meet Ann and Elsa at the Magic Kingdom in Fantasyland at Princess Fairytale Hall. FastPass+ is offered for this meet and great and is recommended. If you can not get a FastPass+ go immediately at park opening or right before closing. You can also see them in the Magic Kingdom’s daytime parade Festival of Fantasy.
Ariel: You can meet Ariel at the Magic Kingdom in Fantasyland at Ariel’s Grotto. This meet and greet is open for early and late extra magic hours and offers FastPass+. She also appears at Cinderella’s Royal Table and Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. See my post Character Dining Locations for more details!
Princess Aurora: You can meet Aurora at the Magic Kingdom in Town Square next to City Hall. This is the nest meet and greet for her because she rarely has a long line. You can also meet Aurora at Epcot in the France Pavilion. Here is the best photo opportunity to take with Aurora because she has the waterway and flowers as her backdrop. You can also see Aurora in two Character Dining Locations!
Belle: You can take a photo with Belle at the Magic Kingdom if stay after the showing of Enchanted Tales with Belle. You can meet Belle at Epcot in the France Pavilion. This is her only meet and greet. You can also see Belle at two Character Dining Locations!
Buzz Lightyear: You can meet Buzz at the Magic Kingdom in Tomorrowland next the Space Ranger Headquarters’ Space Ranger Spin!
Buzz and Woody: You can meet Buzz and Woody at Hollywood Studios in Pixar Place. This meet and greet wait grows pretty quickly and stays at 30mins pretty much all day.
Cinderella: You can meet Cinderella at the Magic Kingdom in Fantasyland at Princess Fairytale Hall. FastPass+ is offered for this meet and greet. Make sure to place reservations at least 30 Days from your arrival date. If you can’t get a FastPass+ make sure to arrive at park open. You can also see Cinderella at two Character Dining Locations!
Chip-n-Dale: You can meet Chip-n-Dale at the Magic Kingdom in Liberty Square next to the Rivers of America where you can board the Liberty Belle. You can meet the chipmunks in Epcot at Innovations West. The wait for them here is usually short and they are not dressed in any particular outfit. You can meet the chipmunks at Hollywood Studios in front of the Chinese Theater where they appear in 1940’s costumes. You can meet Chip-n-Dale at two locations at Animal Kingdom. One is at the park’s entrance where they meet guests as the come into the park. The other is at Rafiki’s Planet Watch, which is actually the best place to meet them because they more than likely will always have a short line. You can also see Chip-n-Dale at a few Character Dining Locations!
Daisy Duck: You can meet Daisy at the Magic Kingdom in Fantasyland in Pete’s Silly Sideshow in Storybook Circus. You can meet Daisy at Hollywood Studios in the Chinese Theater Courtyard where she is dressed in a special 1940’s costume. You can meet Daisy at Animal Kingdom on Discovery Island. She appears outside the old creature comforts store near the entrance to Africa. Here she wears her pink dress with purple bow. You can also see Daisy at the Tusker House Character Dining Location!
Doc McStuffins: You can meet Doc McStuffins at Hollywood Studios outside of Disney Jr. Live. on Stage. She appears wearing her doctor costume and she rarely has a long line. You can also see her at Hollywood and Vine which is a Character Dining Location!
Donald Duck: You can meet Donald at Magic Kingdom in Fantasyland at Pete’s Silly Sideshow in Storybook Circus. You can meet Donald at Epcot in the Mexico Pavilion where he is dress in a special caballero costumes. You can meet Donald Duck at Hollywood Studios in the Chinese Theater Courtyard where is wearing a special 1940’s costume. You can meet Donald at Animal Kingdom at Oasis near the entrance. He meets his guests near the Cretaceous Trail at the entrance to the Dinosaur attractions where he is dressed as a Park Ranger. You can also see Donald at a few Character Dining Locations!
Dug and Russell: You can meet Dug and Russell in Animal Kingdom at Adventurers Outpost. This is the only meet and greet for these guys. They meet their guests in a little alcove next to the attraction entrance to It’s Tough to be a Bug.
Duffy the Disney Bear: You can meet Duffy at his only meet and greet at Epcot in the World Showcase Plaza. He usually has a low wait time.
Fairy Godmother: You can meet Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother at the Magic Kingdom in Fantasyland behind the castle. This is her only meet and greet be sure to arrive early.
Gaston: You can meet Gaston at the Magic Kingdom in Fantasyland at his Tavern. He as a very popular meet and greet so try to get there early.
Goofy: You can meet Goofy at the Magic Kingdom in Fantasyland at Pete’s Silly Sideshow in Storybook Circus. You can meet Goofy at Epcot in Epcot’s Character Spot. Here he meets with Mickey and Minnie. You can meet Goofy at Hollywood Studios in the Chinese Theater Courtyard. He meets his guests in a special 1940’s costume. You can also meet Goofy with Pluto at Animal Kingdom in Dinoland at the Dinoland gas station. They are really popular at this location. You can also see Goofy at a few Character Dining Locations!
Green Army Man: At Hollywood Studios in Pixar Place you can meet a few of Andy’s Green Army Men. They patrol the area around Toy Story Mania. This is the only meet and greet with them but it is a truly unique experience.
Incredible’s Super Dance Party: This takes place at the Magic Kingdom in Tomorrowland. Although you may not get an autograph or a staged picture but you will get to dance and interact with Mr. & Mrs. Incredible and Frozone.
Indiana Jones: If you stay after the Indiana Jones Stunt Show at Hollywood Studios you could get a chance to meet with Indiana Jones and possibly Marion!
Jake: You can meet Jake at Hollywood Studios in the Animation Courtyard. This is Jake’s only meet and greet, but he does visit with you when you are eating at Hollywood and Vine. The best time to meet Jake is in the afternoon or at his Character Dining Location!
Lady and the Tramp’s Autograph: Although they do not have a meet and greet you can still get their autograph. If you go to the Magic Kingdom and go to Tony’s restaurant in Town Square you can ask the registration table for their autograph. Their autograph is a stamp of their paw prints and the restaurant Tony’s is where they had their first kiss with the spaghetti, how cute!
Lightening McQueen and Mater: You can meet Lightening McQueen and Mater in Hollywood Studios at the Muppet Vision Exit. This is the only place that you can meet them at. They do not do autographs but when you pose with them for a photo they do make car sounds. There is also a photopass photographer present to take your picture.
Marie the Aristocat: You can meet Marie at the Magic Kingdom in Town Square. She meets at the Flag Pole at park open.
Mary Poppins: You can meet her at the Magic Kingdom in Town Square at Exposition Hall. She rarely has a long line at this location. You can meet Mary Poppins at Epcot in the United Kingdom Pavilion. This lovely lady is always delighted to meet your acquaintance in her home-away-from-home! You can also see Marry Poppins at a few Character Dining Locations!
Merida: You can meet Merida at the Magic Kingdom in Fantasyland in the Fairytale Garden where you can practice archery, color your own “tapestry” of Merida, see her horse Angus and of course meet Merida herself. You can also see Merida in the Magic Kingdom’s daytime parade Festival of Fantasy.
Mickey Mouse: Mickey is one popular guy so you can imagine that there are plenty of places to see him. First, there is the Magic Kingdom. You can meet Mickey in Town Square Theater at the only meet and greet where he talks to you! You can use a FastPass+ to see him or go late in the evening when there is almost not line. This is my favorite spot to meet Mickey! Second, is at Epcot. You can meet Mickey in Epcot’s Character Spot. This is really a great spot because you get to meet Mickey and two other characters for one wait time! FastPass+ is offered here as well. Third, is at Hollywood Studios. You can meet Mickey near the Backlot Studio Catering Company. Here Mickey is dressed in his Sorcerer’s Apprentice costume. You also see Mickey in daytime and nighttime parades and shows in the different parks everyday. You can also see Mickey at a few Character Dining Locations!
Minnie Mouse: Minnie is almost as popular as Mickey so you are able to meet her at quite a few places as well. First is at the Magic Kingdom in Fantasyland at Pete’s Silly Sideshow in Stroybook Circus. Here Minnie appears as a poodle trainer. Second is in Epcot’s Character Spot where she meets her guests along with Mickey and Pluto! Third is at Hollywood Studios in the Chinese Theater Courtyard. Here she meets her guests dressed in a special 1940’s costume. Like Mickey, you can see Minnie in daytime and nighttime parades and shows in the different parks everyday. You can also see Minnie at a few Character Dining Locations! Minnie is my favorite character!
Mickey and Minnie: There is only one place that you can meet Mickey and Minnie together and that is in Animal Kingdom at Adventurers’ Outpost. FastPass+ is offered and is reccomended for this meet and greet. Here they are dressed as safari adventurers.
Mike Wazowski and Sulley: You can meet Mike and Sulley in Hollywood Studios at the exit to Muppet 3D Vision. This is the only meet and greet for these guys. The only time that they really have a wait is after a showing of Muppet 3D ends.
Mulan: You can meet Mulan at Epcot in the China Pavilion. This is her only meet and greet. You can also see Mulan and a few Character Dining Locations!
Prince Naveen: You can meet Prince Naveen at the Magic Kingdom in Liberty Square Heritage House. Naveen only meets with Tiana late in the day at this locaiton. This is also his only meet and greet.
Peter Pan: You can meet Peter Pan at the Magic Kingdom in Fantasyland next to Peter Pan’s Flight. This is his only meet and greet so try and get there early. Peter Pan as well as the rest of his crew makes an appearance in the daytime parade at Magic Kingdom, Festival of Fantasy.
Phineas and Furb: You can meet these guys in Hollywood Studios at the Exit of Muppet Vision 3D. This is the only meet and greet for them and the only time that they have a long wait is after a showing of Muppet Vision 3D lets out.
Pluto: You can meet Pluto at the Magic Kingdom in Town Square at the Flag Pole. He is always out at park open and throughout the day. You can meet Pluto at Epcot in Legacy Plaza at park open. You can meet Pluto at Hollywood Studios in the Chinese Theater Courtyard. You can also see Pluto at a few Character Dining Locations!
Pocahontas: You can meet Pocahontas at Animal Kingdom on Discovery Island Trail. This is her only meet and greet and it’s best to be at her first meet or her last because she is pretty popular.
Rafiki: You can meet Rafiki at two locations at Animal Kingdom. His first meet is at the entrance to the park where he greets quests as the enter Animal Kingdom. His second meet is at Rafiki’s Planet Watch inside the Conservation Station where he rarely has a long line.
Rapunzel: You can meet Rapunzel at the Magic Kingdom in Fantasyland at Princess Fairytale Hall. FastPass+ is offered for her meet and greet. She meets in the same room as Cinderella but meet for separate photos. Rapunzel also appears in Magic Kingdom’s daytime parade Festival of Fantasy.
Snow White:You can meet Snow White in the Magic Kingdom at the exit of Town Square Theater. This is the best spot to meet her because she rarely has a line at this location. You can meet Snow White at Epcot in Germany’s Pavilion where she meets her guests next to a wishing well. You can also see Snow White at two Character Dining Locations!
Sofia the First:You can met Sofia at Hollywood Studios in the Animation Courtyard. This is her only meet and greet, although you can get a visit from her while you eat at Hollywood and Vine aCharacter Dining Location!
Stitch:You can meet Stitch at the Magic Kingdom in Tomorrowland. This is his only meet and greet and he rarely has a line! So if you see him strolling around the area make sure to stop him and say hi! You can also see Stitch at Ohana’sCharacter Dining Location!
Princess Tiana: You can meet Tiana at the Magic Kingdom in Liberty Square at the Liberty Square Heritage House. You can meet Tiana alone in the morning at park open or you can see her in the evening with Prince Naveen. This is her only meet and greet.
Tigger & Winnie the Pooh: You can meet Tigger and Pooh Bear at the Magic Kingdom in Fantasyland outside the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh Ride. You can meet Tigger and Pooh at Epcot in the United Kingdom Pavilion. There meet and greet here is the most picturesque because their backdrop is actually Christopher Robin’s bedroom. You can also meet Tigger and Pooh and the rest of the gang at the Crystal Palace a Character Dining Location!
Tinker Bell: You can meet Tink at the Magic Kingdom in Town Square Theater next to where you can meet Mickey. FastPass+ is available for this meet and greet. This is her only meet and greet so at times her line can get someone long. Tink also appears in Magic Kingdom’s daytime parade Festival of Fantasy.
Tremaine Family: You can meet Cinderella’s Stepmother Lady Tremaine and her two Stepsisters Anastasia and Drisella at the Magic Kingdom in Fantasyland near the wall. They are out at park open and their line builds up quick once they arrive. This is their only meet and greet.
The White Rabbit: You can meet the White Rabbit at the Magic Kingdom in Fantasyland at the Mad Tea Party Tea Cups ride. Sometimes he meets by himself or with Alice and the Mad Hatter. This is his only meet and greet.
Woody and Jessie: You can meet Woody and Jessie at the Magic Kingdom in Frontierland at Splash Mountain’s exit. This is Jessie’s only meet and greet and the lines are rarely long and it is in the shade next to the line for Splash Mountain.
