Splash about on your way to Ol’ Man Island or relax with a far more tranquil dip in one of 5 leisure pools. Hours and lifeguard availability vary by pool and are subject to change. Ol’ Man Island – a 3.5-acre refuge with a swimmin’ hole and a fishin’ hole. Fashioned after an abandoned sawmill, this pool is accessible by 3 wooden bridges and includes a 95 foot-long rustic waterslide built into the millworks. Nearby, a whirlpool tub, the Muddy Rivers pool bar and a kiddie pool provide entertainment for all ages. A daily pool party plus an evening campfire and movie screening (on select nights) keep the fun going all day long. 5 Leisure Pools – 3 in Alligator Bayou and 2 in Magnolia Bend—are also available throughout the Resort. – Royal Guest Rooms –
During a refurbishment of this resort, some of the buildings’ rooms where made into a Royal Room. Meaning that those rooms now have two queen beds in them instead of two full beds. The headboards of the beds have built in Disney Magic, firefly fireworks! You will also notice very familiar items throughout the rooms that will remind you of other Disney movie classics.

N’awlins favorites like Cajun crawfish bites, gumbo and jambalaya offer a tantalizing taste of the Louisiana Bayou. Keep rollin’ down the river with voodoo chicken, sweet tea-brined pork chops, prime rib or andouille-crusted catfish. For dessert, bananas Foster angel food cake, bread pudding and pecan pie weave their black magic.
Riverside Mill Food Court – Get a taste of New Orleans at this food court by the big mill wheel that powers a working cotton press. Six stations satisfy any craving: bakery, grill, pizza & pasta, specialties, salads and a carving station. Grab ’n’ go items are available.
River Roost – Don’t make the mistake of dining on an empty stomach, especially when the River Roost offers such a tasty array of appetizers! Enjoy Big Easy-style bites like breaded crawfish tails, chicken and andoullie gumbo, and bourbon barbecue shrimp. But Yehaa Bob is still the main draw at the River Roost. Watch as this veteran entertainer brings his unique blend of boogie woogie piano, comedic patter and audience participation to the lounge Wednesday through Saturday, starting at 8:30 pm.
