Planning your June 2016 Walt Disney World Vacation!

Here is some helpful tips and information for vacationers that are looking into visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during the month of June 2016!

The top three questions that everyone always asks is; how’s the weather, is it crowded and how much will it cost me? Well keep reading because I’m about to tell you!

During the month of June you can expect to experience heavy crowd levels and very hot temperatures! I would suggest staying at a resort with a nice pool to take advantage of during the middle of the day when it is the hottest!

Events Happening in June!

THE official start to Summer is in June. Kids are getting out of school and families are going on vacation! For the past couple of years Hollywood Studios (MGM) has hosted Frozen Summer Fun! It usually begins in mid-June and lasts through until Labor Day. The official announcement for Frozen Summer Fun has not yet been released, but when more information becomes available you can find it here! EPCOT also gets in on the Summer festivities. They host the Sounds of Summer concert series which takes place on the weekends during the Summer season.

How’s the Weather?

The weather for all of June will be, yup you guessed it, HOT! According to the National Weather Channel, the average low for Central Florida is 72 and the high is 91. But I would expect it to get into the high 90’s at some points. Also, be aware that during this time of year afternoon showers and thunderstorms are more than likely to make an appearance anytime from 2:00 pm until the evening hours. So bring your rain gear! Pack the sunscreen as well!

Ride & Attraction Refurbishments and Closings

The only ride that looks to be closed during June will be Soarin’. But, all of the Disney sources say that it will be opened back up by Summer 2016! So who knows you could be part of a soft opening or grand re-opening for Soarin’! Also, the Frozen Ever After ride is rumored to be opening in the Summer of 2016. When more information on these rides becomes available you can find it here!

Dining and FastPass+ Reservations

If you are planing on getting advanced dining reservations you will need to book your reservations by December, which will be your 180 day mark. Also, if you are staying on property you can reserve your FastPass+ 60 days before your arrival date. Your 60-Days out date will be in April.

Promotions and Offers!

Disney has released a promotional offer for June! The Summer Meal Offer includes a FREE Quick Service Dining Plan! Yes, I said FREE! The catch is you have to book your vacation during these dates, January 19 through February 29, 2o16. Your vacation days must fall in these dates, May 29 through June 30, 2016 and July 5 through August 13, 2016. You also have to stay at one of Disney’s Value Resorts (All-Star Sports, Music, Movies, Pop Century and Art of Animation) and you must have a minimum 3-night stay. There are only a certain amount of rooms at each resort that will qualify for this offer! The sooner you book the better chances for your family to receive the Summer Meal Offer!

Disney has released a promotional offer that is only valid for the months of June 2016 – August 2016! The Awaken Summer Offer allow’s guests to save up to 30% on their room rate at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels! Did I mention that the exclusive MagicBand has BB8 on it? If you are interested, get in touch with your Disney Travel Agent as soon as possible! You must book by June 10, 2016 to receive this offer! Also, there are only a certain amount of rooms at the select resorts that will qualify for this offer! The sooner you book the better chances for your family to receive the Awaken Summer offer!

Let’s Do the Math!

Want to get an idea of how much your vacation would cost for you to visit the Walt Disney World Resort during the month of June? Take a look at the following scenarios!

The Jones Family is taking their graduating High School Senior and a friend to the Walt Disney World Resort as a graduation present. Their vacation total is $4,043.30. The Jones Family had booked their vacation before the Summer Meal Offer was released. Beginning Feb. 7, 2016, a new interactive experience, based on the hit Disney Channel movie “The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar,” will debut at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park at the Walt Disney World Resort.

The Lion Guard Adventure allows young Guests to become honorary members of the Lion Guard as they explore the park in search of five main characters from the popular TV movie – Kion, Bunga, Fuli, Beshte, and Ono. – Holidays/Events –

There is only one Holiday throughout the month of March and that is Easter. Pretty much all of the schools are out for their Spring Breaks throughout the month of March and on into early April. – How’s the Weather? –

Like I said earlier, March’s weather is when it’s winter in the shade and summer in the sun. You can expect to have a pretty chilly morning and evening with a very warm midday. You might even pack a bathing suite and try out your resort’s pool! The National Weather channel has a average high for Central Florida at 78 and the low at 56.

– Advanced Dining Reservations & FastPass+ –

If you are planing on getting advanced dining reservations you will need to book your reservations 180 Days from your arrival date in order to get your First choice restaurants. Your 180 Days out mark for March vacations is in September.

Also, if you are staying on property you can reserve your FastPass+ 60 Days before your arrival date. Your 60 Days out mark for March vacations will be in January.

– Let’s Do the Math! –

So how much would your vacation cost for a visit to the Walt Disney World during the month of March?

The Tremaine Family wants to take a long weekend/quick trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. The children in this family are a little older, Anastasia being 16 and Drizella is 13. They are interested in adding the Park Hopper option to their tickets and are playing around with the idea of purchasing a Dining Plan. They have decided to stay at the Pop Century Resort for 5 nights and 4 days. Their total vacation cost with the Park Hopper and Dining Plan is $3,287.00.

The Charming Family wants to take Grandma and Grandpa along with their two boys. The boys love the movie Cars! They have decided to stay at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort in a Cars Family Suite for 6 nights and 5 days. They have decided on going with a 5-Day Base ticket and the Dining Plan. Planning your July 2016 Walt Disney World Vacation!

Here is some helpful tips and information for vacationers that are looking into visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during the month of July 2016!

The top three questions that everyone always asks is; how’s the weather, is it crowded and how much will it cost me? Well keep reading because I’m about to tell you!

During the month of July you can expect to experience heavy crowd levels and very hot temperatures! I would suggest staying at a resort with a nice pool to take advantage of during the middle of the day when it is the hottest!

July 2016 Crowd Calendar

There is one Holiday/Event that takes place during July at Disney World. (I’m pretty sure you know what it is!) July 4th, the United States of America’s Independence Day. You can expect Magic Kingdom to close due to capacity on the day of July 4th. Magic Kingdom does a special firework show on the night of the 4th, so if you would like to see this show get to Magic Kingdom early and stay there, head to the Ticket and Transportation Center (TCC) or one of the Deluxe Resorts that surround the Seven Seas Lagoon.

The weather for all of July will be, yup you guessed it, HOT! According to the National Weather Channel, the average low for Central Florida is 74 and the high is 92. But I would expect it to get into the high 90’s at some points. Also, be aware that during this time of year afternoon showers and thunderstorms are more than likely to make an appearance anytime from 2:00 pm until the evening hours. So bring your rain gear!

So how much would your vacation cost you for a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort during the month of July?

Let’s Do the Math!

The Fa Family is going to bare the crowds and is going to attempt Disney World for the 4th of July. They will be taking mom, dad, Mulan-10 and Mushu-8 and will be staying 6 nights and 5 days at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort. They will be choosing to add the Park Hopper option to their tickets because of the heavy crowds but they will not be doing a Dining Plan. Their total vacation cost will be $2,553.84.

The Pelekai Family is not going for the 4th of July.  They have chosen to take mom, dad, Lilo and Nani for a 6 night and 5 day stay at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. They have chosen to add the Park Hopper option to their tickets, but they are still on the fence about which Dining Plan they should choose. If they choose to not get a Dining Plan at all their vacation will cost $3,413.56. If they choose to go with the Quick Service Dining Plan their vacation will cost $4,137.28. If they choose to go with the Disney Dining Plan their vacation will cost $4,407.16.

The Charming Family is meeting up with other family members for a family reunion at the Walt Disney World Resort. They will all be staying at the Beach Club Resort for 6 nights and 5 days. They have chosen to add the Park Hopper option to their tickets and they have chosen to go with the Dining Plan. They have also purchased a Memory Maker so that they can have all of the fun family photos that they take while on vacation. They total vacation will cost $5,250.00.

Planning your February 2016 Walt Disney World Vacation!

Here is some helpful tips and information for vacationers that are looking into visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during the month of February 2016!

The top three questions that everyone always asks is; how’s the weather, is it crowded and how much will it cost me? Well keep reading because I’m about to tell you!

During the month of February you will experience some very low crowd levels and some pretty inexpensive prices as well as some cool temperatures.

Feb 2016 Crowd Calendar

Disney World hosts the Disney World Princess Half Marathon during the month of February. There are also a two holidays that are celebrated in February, President’s Day and Valentine’s Day. These three events will draw somewhat of a crowd but nothing like Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The weather stays mild for most of the month. According to the National Weather Channel temperatures for Central Florida are a low of 52 and a high of 74. That is very comfortable weather for walking around the parks if ya ask me! But, I would still pack a few shorts and maybe one heavy jacket just in case is does stay in the 50’s or around 74 all day. Plus! Don’t forget a rain jacket!

Be aware that some rides and attractions will be closed for refurbishments. Because of the low crowd levels Disney uses this time to update their rides. Some of the rides that will be closed during February are Soarin’ and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin.

If you are planing on getting advanced dining reservations you will need to book your reservations by August, which will be your 180 day mark. Also, if you are staying on property you can reserve your FastPass+ 60 days before your arrival date.

So how much would your vacation cost for a visit to Walt Disney World during the month of February?

Let’s Do the Math!

The Darling Family want an inexpensive vacation and are planning on staying at the Walt Disney World Resort for 6 nights and 5 days at Disney’s All-Star Resort. They are taking mom, dad, Wendy-14 and Michael-10 . It is Michael’s first Disney vacation. They have decided to go with a 5-Day base ticket and take on park per day. They are also deciding to pay for their meals out of pocket. Their total vacation cost will be $2,120.62.

The La Bouff Family want to give their two girls Tiana and Charlotte the royal treatment. They have heard about the Royal Rooms at Port Orleans Riverside but they are not sure about the price. They are choosing to stay onsite for 6 nights and 5 days and are playing with the option of a park hopper. They will be purchasing the Dining Plan and will be attending Cinderella’s Royal Table and Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. They are also scheduling an appointment with Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. If they choose to go with the Royal Room and Park Hopper their trip will cost $4,618.64. It they choose the Royal Room and no Park Hopper their trip will cost $4,346.00. If they choose a Standard Room with no Park Hopper their trip will cost $4,394.30.

The Porter Family wants to go all out for their two children Jane and Clayton’s first visit to Walt Disney World. They will be staying at the Polynesian Village Resort for 6 nights and 5 days. They have chosen the Polynesian because they will have direct access to EPCOT and Magic Kingdom Parks. They for sure want to get a Park Hopper Ticket and are still on the fence with choosing a Dining Plan. With a 5-Day Park Hopper and no Dining Plan their vacation will cost $6,709.80. If they choose to add a Dining Plan their vacation will cost $7,703.40.

I hope the information that I have provided will help those out that are looking to visit the Walt Disney World Resort in February 2016. If you have any additional questions that were not answered in this post, please ask away!

Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you!
