Deluxe Resorts

Deluxe Resorts offer the best amenities, best pools, and best location within Walt Disney World. They are also typically the most expensive resorts, but I do believe that you get your bang for your buck. These resorts also offer club level concierge service which gives guests many additional benefits on top of the great deluxe accommodations. Most deluxe resorts also offer more than one way of transportation to get to and from each Disney theme park. If you do not have a tight budget for your Disney vacation I would suggest staying at one of these amazing resorts! They are the closest to the theme parks and they provide their guests with the best immersive experience.

The first three Deluxe Resorts are the Monorail Loop Resorts; they are the Contemporary Resort, the Polynesian Village Resort and the Grand Floridian. What these means is that you can take the monorail from these resorts to and from the Magic Kingdom or the Ticket Transportation Center.

The Contemporary Resort is the closest deluxe resort to the Magic Kingdom, it’s so close that there is actually a walking path from the Contemporary to the Magic Kingdom. Another perk for this resort, besides being so close to the Magic Kingdom is Chef Mickey’s and roof top dining at the California Grill.

Celebrate the spirit of the South Pacific at this oasis of tropical palms that is The Polynesian Village Resort! Located at this resort is Ohana’s which is a character breakfast in the morning with Lilo and Stitch and a family dining location at night with a great spot to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks. Also at the Polynesian you can try the famous dole whip while you watch the fireworks from the beach.

Victorian elegance meets modern sophistication at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. Relax in the sumptuous lobby as the live orchestra plays ragtime, jazz and popular Disney tunes. Unwind outdoors, indulge in a luxurious massage and watch evening fireworks light up the sky over Cinderella Castle. This resort is famous for it’s wedding venue and of course the amazing lobby and location.
The next three deluxe resorts are the EPCOT resorts. They are; Yacht Club, Beach Club and the BoardWalk Inn. Each one of these resorts is in walking distance to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.

Enjoy a family getaway amid the carefree casual elegance of Disney’s Beach Club Resort. From Disney Character Breakfasts to movies under the stars, there’s nothing like a day at the Beach Club. This resort’s pool Storm Along Bay is like a water park itself and this resorts hosts my favorite character dining location, Cape May.
Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is the sister resort to Beach Club. All these means is they share the same amenities. So things like Storm Along Bay and dining locations can be used by guests staying at both resorts.

Discover carnival games, unique dining and exciting nightlife on the Coney Island-style boardwalk. Strung like saltwater taffy along the shimmering Crescent Lake.
The Last two Deluxe Resorts are Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Soak in the splendor of the great outdoors, from nature trails through pine forests to rocking chairs that overlook a murmuring creek. Inside, discover towering totem poles, headdresses and more, and enjoy the rustic elegance of the stone hearth and roaring fireplace.
